Responsibilities of Jovie sitters:
We are seeking a handful of reliable, energetic, and adaptable professional sitters to provide high-quality childcare during church services, classes and events. In this role, you will help care for small groups of children at a church located in Des Peres, MO. Responsibilities may include assisting in a room of toddlers, leading an infant room, or conducting an activity with older children so for this reason sitters must have experience with children of all ages, including infants. If you are looking for a fulfilling role and have Sunday mornings open this may be the job for you!
Pay: $16/hour
Hours: Sunday mornings 8:30am-11:30am
Start Date: November 15th, 2026
Duration: estimated 6 months

Requirements to apply:
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
- Subject to a mandatory background check.
- Must have experience with children of all ages including infants.
Responsibilities of Jovie sitters:
- Maintain a safe, secure, and fun environment for children of all ages.
- Supervise group play and lead age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts.
- Greet parents warmly during check-in and strictly follow secure check-out procedures.
- Monitor children for any behavioral or safety issues and resolve conflicts gently.
- Keep the event childcare space clean, organized, and tidy throughout the shift.
